I am no stranger to standing up for what is fair and just for all Texans. All my life I’ve had a passion for justice, whether in the courtroom or in the public square. Now, I hope to bring that passion to the appellate court.
I hope you will join me and my team by offering your support and, hopefully, your vote for me to be the next Justice in the Texas Third Court of Appeals. Thank you.
A PUBLIC SERVANT'S HEART FOR ALL TEXANS

About the Third Court of Appeals
- The Third Court of Appeals hears appeals based on civil cases where judgment rendered exceeds $250, exclusive of costs, and other civil proceedings as provided by law; and in criminal cases except in post-conviction writs of habeas corpus and in which the death penalty has been imposed.
- Texas is divided into 14 courts of appeals jurisdictions. The Third Court of Appeals covers 24 counties: Bastrop, Bell, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Coke, Comal, Concho, Fayette, Hays, Irion, Lampasas, Lee, Llano, McCulloch, Milam, Mills, Runnels, San Saba, Schleichar, Sterling, Tom Green, Travis, and Williamson.
- The Third Court of Appeals is composed of a Chief Justice and five justices. Place 4 is the only seat on the November 1, 2022 ballot. Lesli R. Fitzpatrick is the Republican Nominee and the best qualified attorney for this position.
- Appeals in the courts of appeals are usually heard by a panel of three justices, unless an en banc hearing is ordered in a particular case, in which all justices of the court hear and consider cases.
- Courts of Appeal are the ONLY courts to which an individual has an ABSOLUTE right to appeal.
